Three Women's Tennis Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-OAC Honors

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio --  Three Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis student-athletes have been chosen to the 2020 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Junior Emma Hubbard (Ortonville, Mich./Brandon), junior Becca Liebler (Medina) and junior All-OAC selection Ashtyn Morris (Salem) are three of the 45 Yellow Jacket student-athletes to be recognized this spring.

Hubbard, who will earn her second consecutive Academic All-OAC honor, is an international business and marketing double major who carries a 3.8 GPA. Hubbard played in nine matches before the season was canceled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Hubbard is a Dean's List Student and Jacket Scholar. For her career, she owns a 9-16 singles mark and a 3-15 doubles record.

Liebler, a business administration, industrial and amp and organizational psychology triple major who holds a 3.9 GPA, will earn her second consecutive All-OAC honor. Liebler played in 11 matches before the season was canceled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Liebler is a Dean's List Student, Jacket Scholar, and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries. In her career, she has a 24-23 singles record and a 21-32 doubles mark.

Morris, who will garner his second Academic All-OAC award, is an English major who holds a 4.0 GPA. Morris played in 12 matches before the season was canceled due to the COVID 19 pandemic.She is a Dean's List Student, Jacket Scholar, and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries. In her career, she boasts a 22-27 singles record and a 24-29 doubles mark.
