Pinter Earns OAC Diver of the Week Honors

BEREA, OHIO --  Junior 4-time All-American diver Julie Pinter (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) has been named as Ohio Athletic Conference Diver-of-the-Week (Monday, January 30, 2012). This is the fourth time that Pinter has won the award, including the second time this season

Pinter is one of the most celebrated student-athletes in school history. The speech and communications disorders major who carries a 3.8 grade point average, won all four events in meets at Case Western Reserve University (January 27) and John Carroll University (January 28). She is undefeated against Division III competition this season. At Case, Pinter won the 1-meter event with 261.15 points and the 3-meter event with 258.85 points.  At John Carroll, she won the 1-meter event with 325.90 points and the 3-meter event with 344.35 points.

The swimmers and divers are now idle until Feb. 16-18 when they compete at the 2012 OAC Championship Meet at the University of Akron.
