Women Swimming & Diving Teams Compete at Day Two of Calvin Invitational

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN
-- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's swimming and diving teams competed on day two (Friday, December 2) of the Calvin College Winter Invitational at the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The women's quartet of junior Kelsey Richards (Wadsworth), sophomore Kayla Miller (Van Wert), freshmen Kayla Eyster (Canton, Mich./ Plymouth-Canton), and Carli Dugan (Mentor) placed 15th overall in a time of 1:44.99 in the 200-yard free relay. In the 200-yard Butterfly sophomore Caitlin Wilson (Wycombe, Pa./Council Rock North) placed 15th overall in a time of 2:30.29.  In addition, for the 100-yard Breaststroke Angela Musille (Canton/ GlenOak) placed 11th overall in a time of 1:07.92. Finally for the women, Emma Gerdes (Avon) placed 15th in a time of 1:02.42 in the 100-yard Backstroke sophomore.

Tomorrow is the  final day of the invitational with the prelims beginning at 10:00 a.m. and finals slated to start at 6 p.m.
