Yellow Jacket Women Swimming Falls to Ohio Wesleyan

-- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's swimming and diving teams each lost in dual meet competition tonight (Friday, January 13, 2012) to visiting Ohio Wesleyan University in the B-W Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center.

The OWU women beat the B-W women, 141-89.

With the losses, the Yellow Jacket women are now 3-4 overall. The squads return to action next Friday, Jan. 20 in dual meet competition at Hiram College at 6:00 p.m.

The B-W women were led by sophomore Angela Musille (Canton/ GlenOak) who placed first in the 400 IM in 4:58.85 and the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:29.79.  In addition, sophomore Caitlin Wilson (Wycombe,Pa./ Council Rock North) won the 1000-yard free in 11:45.02 and sophomore Emma Gerdes (Avon) won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:15.38.

Following the meet at Hiram on Jan. 20, the Yellow Jackets are back in action the next day, Saturday, Jan. 21 when they host Ohio Athletic Conference rival Ohio Northern University at 1:00 p.m. on Seniors' & Parents' Day.
