Women’s Lacrosse Defender Stein Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC women's lacrosse defender Hannah Stein (Medina/Highland) has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 At-Large first-team.

Stein now moves on to the Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced in mid-June.

She is an international business and finance double major that carries a 3.99 grade point average. Stein is a three-time Academic All-OAC selection, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries. 

On the field, she is a three-time All-OAC selection, 2019 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWCLA) All-Great Lakes Region first-team selection and the 2019 OAC Defensive Player of the Year.

For her career, Stein appeared in 52 games, recording 43 goals and 10 assists for 53 points.  She also tallied 114 ground balls, 229 draw controls, and 82 caused turnovers. 

She is the school-record holder for draw controls in a game, draw controls in a season, draw controls in a career, caused turnovers in a game and free position shooting percentage in a game. Stein also ranks fourth in caused turnovers, sixth in ground balls, seventh in free position shooting percentage and eighth in games played, eighth in free position goals and eighth in free position shots on the program's all-time career leaderboards.
