ACAMDEMIC MAJOR: Athletic Training

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Katie Kocher played her third season of women's lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder earned her third varsity letter.

SCHOOL RECORDS:  Katie owns a BW single-game record for assists with seven on two separate occassions (once in 2014 and once in 2015). She owns the single season record with 49 in 2014 and the current career mark with 119.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Katie earned first-team All-OAC honors. As a sophomore in 2014-2015, she was a second-team All-OAC choice and the BW Most Valuable Midfielder. As a junior in 2015-2016, Katie was a second-team All-OAC selection. 

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Katie played her first season of lacrosse and earned her first varsity letter. She started all 18 games, took 25 shots, including 16 on-goal, scored 10 goals and had a single-season school-record 49 assists for 59 points (third on the team). She also had 58 ground balls, 31 draw controls and caused 27 turnovers. BW set a single-season school-record with 14 victories, finished 14-4 overall and advanced to the OAC Championship match.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Katie played her second season of lacrosse and earned her second letter. She was a second-team All-OAC selection and the BW Most Valuable Midfielder. Katie played in 13 games, including 10 starts, took 28 shots, including 18 on-goal, scored 12 goals (sixth) and had a team-leading 31 assists for 43 total points (second). She also collected 25 ground balls, won 24 draw controls and caused 24 turnovers. BW finished 8-6 overall and advanced to its second straight OAC Championship Game.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Katie played her third season of lacrosse and earned her third varsity letter. She was a second-team All-OAC selection. Katie played in 17 games, scored 26 goals and added a team-high 39 assists for 65 points. Katie also talied up 51 ground balls, 28 draw controls, and 24 caused turnovers. In an OAC game against Ohio Northern University she scored one goal and added a season-high six assists for a season-high seven points.

HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND: Katie Kocher grew up in Rocky River, Ohio and graduated from Rocky River High School.

Katie played four seasons of basketball, three season of volleyball, two seasons of both lacrosse and track and field, and one season of soccer. She earned varsity letters in all five sports.
