ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Communications

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Lauryn played her second season of lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace. She hopes earned her second varsity letter.

ATHLETICS HONORS FOR LACROSSE:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Lauryn was named as the Co-Most Improved Player.

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Lauryn played her first season of lacrosse and earned her first varsity letter. She received the Co-Most Improved Player Award. Lauryn played in seven games on defense, took 15 shots, including nine on-goal, and scored five goals. She also collected six ground balls, won four draw controls and caused three turnovers. BW finished 8-6 overall and advanced to its second straight Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Game.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Lauryn played her second season of lacrosse and earned her second varsity letter. She played in 17 games, picked up 15 ground balls, and 13 caused turnovers. In the OAC game against Ohio Northern Lauryn caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls.

• Two goals (2x), last vs. Muskingum on April 22, 2015
• Two points (2x), last vs. Muskingum on April 22, 2015
• Four draw controls vs. Curry (Mass.) on March 10, 2015
• Three ground balls (3x), last at Ohio Northern on April 23, 2016
• Three caused turnovers at Ohio Northern on April 23, 2016

CLUBS OR ORGANIZATIONS:   Lauryn is a student assistant in the sports information office.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Lauren Wright grew up in Orrville, Ohio and graduated from Orrville High School.

Lauryn played volleyball for four years and earned three varsity letters. She also played four years of basketball and letteted three times.

In volleyball, Lauryn was a first-team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference and All-Wayne County selection and was tabbed to the Massillon Jackson All-Tournament team. She had nine matches with at least 10 kills.

In basketball, Lauryn was a team captain and received the Sixth Person Award.

Academically, Lauryn was a member of SOAR, the Orrville H.S. Student Council and received an OCC Leadership Award.
