Cunningham Named Co-Medalist As BW Women Win Wooster Fall Tourney

WOOSTER -- Senior Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/Dayton Christian) was named co-medalist as the Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team carded a final round total of 353 strokes to place first of 10 teams at the two-day and 36-hole The College of Wooster Fall Invitational Tournament at the Wooster Country Club. 

The Yellow Jackets were led by Cunningham who carded an 36-hole round of 169 strokes, including rounds of 80 and 89 to be named co-medalist on the par-72 and 5,802-yard Wooster C.C. layout.

She was followed by senior Emilee Woolf (Ravenna), who had 174 total strokes and rounds of 90 and 84; senior Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/Darby), who had a 181-stroke total and rounds of 89 and 92; sophomore Laura Vidmar (Willoughby/South), who had 181 total strokes and rounds of 93 and 88; and freshman Olivia Pacheco (Canfield) who had 213 total strokes and rounds of 107 and 106.

The BW women compete in the final fall event on Saturday and Sunday, October 12-13 when they travel to Springfield to play at the Wittenberg University "Clash at the Clouse" Tournament.
