Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Competes at Mount Union Last Chance

ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed in an Ohio Athletic Conference Last Chance Meet, hosted by the University of Mount Union inside Mount Union Stadium. 

Senior distance runner Jose Reynoso was the lone student-athlete to finish the 10,000-meter run as he crossed the finish line in a time of 34:50.72. Sophomore hurdler ShaDaryll Clark (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) posted a time of 15.09 seconds in the 110-meter hurdle preliminaries and then turned in a time of 15.05 seconds in the finals to finish as the runner-up. Junior distance runner David Prather (Hardin, Mont.) and freshman distance runner Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg/Benedictine) both competed in the 800-meter run. Prather finished eighth in a time of 1:56.33 while Stanley placed 11th in 2:06.79 

In the only field event action of the afternoon for the Yellow Jackets, freshman thrower Joe Barnes (West Plains, Mo.) finished fourth in the javelin throw with a toss of 143 feet, 4 inches.
