HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team fell to Catholic (D.C.) University, 6-3 in a non-conference matchup, at the Hilton Head Resort.
BW (5-2) earned an 8-6 victory at No. 1 doubles, behind the team of senior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference Jake Elbin (Findlay) and freshman Trey Kernan (Penfield, N.Y.).
Elbin secured No. 1 singles with a 7-5 6-1 score line and Kernan took No. 3 singles with 6-1 and 6-3 scores.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action tomorrow for a contest with Cornell (Iowa) College at 1:30 p.m.
