Complete D3hoops.ocm Preseason Top 25 Poll
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The defending Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Champion Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team lands at No. 22 in the D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25 poll.
BW received 128 points to earn the 22th spot on the first weekly poll. Marietta College, who is the only other OAC team in the poll, was selected 18th with 227 points.
This poll is the 35th time in program history that the Yellow Jackets have been ranked in the D3hoops Top 25 poll. BW's highest-ever ranking came during the 2006-07 season when it was ranked No. 3 in the Week 13 poll.
The Yellow Jackets, who finished last season with a 21-9 overall record, return 10 letterwinners and three starters from last year's squad that won the OAC tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division lll National Tournament.
BW opens the season at home against Bethany (W. Va.) College on Tuesday November 12 at 7 p.m in Ursprung Gymnasium. The Yellow Jackets will open OAC play at home against Marietta on Tuesday November 26 at 7 p.m.
