Quiring Selected to CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Team

Complete NCAA Division III CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball senior two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Michael Quiring (Brunswick) has been named to the 2019-20 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 first-team.

Quiring now moves on to the Academic All-America Ballot, which will be announced mid-March. 

A finance major, Quiring carries a 3.81 grade point average and is a Dean's List Student and Jacket Scholar.

On February, 14, Quiring achieved 1,000 career points with a 10-point performance. He currently sits at No. 40 on the Yellow Jacket 1,000-point club with 1,020 points. This season, Quiring averages 10.9 points per game with a team-high 3.7 assists per game and sits seventh in the OAC with a total of 82 assists.

In his career, he has 303 assists, 252 rebounds, 60 steals and 22 blocks.

BW, who sits tied for third in the OAC standings with an overall record of 13-11 and an OAC mark of 9-8, is back in action on Saturday, February 22 when it hosts an Al Sirat Grotto, OAC and Seniors' Day game against Otterbein University in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 3 p.m.

The OAC Tournament Quarterfinals will be contested on the campuses of the highest seeds on Tuesday, February 25 at 7 p.m. The semifinals will be played on Thursday, February 27 on the campuses of the highest remaining seeds at 7 p.m. The championship game will be on Saturday, February 29 at the highest remaining seed at 7 p.m.
