BW Men’s Basketball Knocks Off NAIA Fisher (Mass.)

BOSTON, MASSACHSETTS – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team knocked off NAIA Fisher College in a non-conference game by a final score of 84-67 in the Fectau-Leary Gymnasium.

Senior guard Justin Roth (Parma) led three BW (8-3) players in double figures as he scored a game-high 20 points, including 18 in the first half.   Freshman guard Cameron Kuhn (Vermilion) set a career-high for the second straight game as he tallied 19 points.   Junior guard Brandon Gleim (Hilliard/Davidson) recorded a career-high 14 points, as he was a perfect 4-of-4 from the field, including 3-of-3 from three-point land.  Sophomore forward Jake Fetherolf (Norwalk) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
 

Fisher (11-4) had two players score in double figures led by Tyler Shular with 18 points.  O.J. Moore contributed 15 points.

In the first half, the Yellow Jackets shot an impressive 49 percent from the field (17 of-35, including 50 percent from three-point land (11-of-22). Roth accounted for six of the 11 treys made.  BW led 47-30 at the intermission.  
 
In the second half, the Yellow Jackets continued the hot shooting as they hit 48 percent of their shots (11-of-23), including 40 percent from beyond the arc (2-of-5).  The Falcons did not make up any ground in the period as both teams scored 37 points in the final session.

BW remains in Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 6 when it travels to Chestnut Hill for its final non-conference game against NCAA Division III first-year program Pine Manor College in the Pine Manor Gymnasium at 1 p.m.
