Football Announces Incoming Class as Preseason Camp Continues

BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert is pleased to announce that 60 student-athletes have selected BW to continue their football careers.

Coach Hilvert, who is in seventh season, returns 53 letterwinners, four All-OAC players and seven Academic All-OAC selections from last year's squad that finished with overall record of 7-3 and a 7-2 mark in the league.

BW opens the 2023 season with three straight home contests beginning with its lone non-conference game and the 45th Lee Tressel Shrine Classic on Saturday, September 2 against Mount St. Joseph University.   The Yellow Jackets then host Wilmington College in the Hall of Fame game on September 9 and close out the opening three-game home stand against crosstown rival John Carroll University in the 35th Battle for the Gold Bowl Trophy on September 16.
