COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team was defeated in its final game of 2016, 1-0, on a late goal by Capital University in an Ohio Athletic Conference game inside Bernlohr Stadium.
BW (6-13, 3-6 OAC) was outshot by Capital (13-3-2, 5-2-2 OAC) 11-10 in the game. Senior forward Cheyn Roux scored the only goal of the game for the Crusaders.
After a scoreless first half, where each team took six shots, Capital scored the game winner when Roux netted his ninth goal of the season off a pass from Tyler Wujczyk at the 80:50 mark.
Freshman goalkeeper Patrick Mehal (Richfield/Revere) made two saves and finished the year with a record of 4-6.
