12 Players Score in Men’s Lacrosse Win Against Muskingum

BEREA, Ohio –  12 Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse players scored in a 14-1 Ohio Athletic Conference victory against Muskingum University on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium. 

BW (10-1, 2-0 OAC) was led by sophomore attack Brock Riemenschneider (Rocky River) who scored a game-high three goals. Junior midfielder Alex Fioritto (Akron / Walsh Jesuit) won 14 of 15 face-offs and added an assist.  

Muskingum (2-8, 0-3 OAC) was led by sophomore goalkeeper Phillip Dappen who tallied up a game-high 24 saves in the losing effort.

In the first quarter the Fighting Muskies jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when sophomore midfielder Tucker Haas beat the Yellow Jackets goalkeeper. BW outscored Muskingum 14-0 throughout the remainder of the game.

Sophomore goalkeeper Mike Dizonno (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Stevenson) made two saves and picked up his 10th win of the season.

The Yellow Jackets travel to Westerville on Saturday, April 16 to square off against Otterbein University in an Ohio Athletic Conference game inside Memorial Stadium. The opening face-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
