BEREA, Ohio – Five Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Junior midfielder Jarrod Gilliam (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange), junior midfielder Brian Musial (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights), sophomore attack Alex Binner (East Amherst/Williamsville North), sophomore defender Jakob Jackson (Louisville) and sophomore defender Taylor Sharman (Lancaster, N.Y./Canisius) are five of the 34 BW spring sports student-athletes named as Academic All-OAC.

In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be in residence at the school for at least a year and maintain varsity status.

Gilliam, a three-year letterwinner, earns his second career Academic All-OAC honor.  He is a physics major that carries a 3.74 grade point average.  Gilliam is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. 

Musial, a three-year letterwinner, garners his second career Academic All-OAC accolade.  He is chemistry major that carries a 3.74 grade point average.  Musial is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.

Binner, a two-year letterwinner, earns his first career Academic All-OAC honor.  He is a business administration major that carries a 3.64 grade point average.  Binner is is a Dean's List student.

Jackson, a two-year letterwinner, earns his first career Academic All-OAC honor.  He is a sport management major that carries a 3.60 grade point average.  Jackson is a Dean's List student.

Sharman, a two-year letterwinner, earns his first career Academic All-OAC honor.  He is a pre-physical therapy major that carries a 3.52 grade point average.  Sharman is a Dean's List student.
