Men’s Lacrosse Picked Third in OAC Coaches Poll

2016 Ohio Athletic Conference Lacrosse Poll

BEREA, Ohio—
The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team was picked to finish third in the 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Preseason Poll.

BW finished with a school 12-3 record overall record and advanced to the OAC Tournament Semifinals.

Head Coach Jason Tarnow
begins 2016 with a 25-15 record at BW and seven starters and a career record of 97-66.  Tarnow returns 34 letter winners and seven starters.

Of the returning starters look for sophomore attack Brock Riemenschneider (Rocky River), junior midfielder Alex Fioritto (Akron/Walsh Jesuit), and All-OAC sophomore defender Josiah Greve (Milford).

was second on the team with 24 goals and 53 points, Fioritto won a school-record 157 faceoffs and picked up a school-record 112 groundballs, and Greve is a two-time All-OAC selections and caused a team-high 21 turnovers.

The Yellow Jackets begin the 2016 campaign on Saturday,  February 27 when they travel to Washington, Pennsylvania to take on Washington & Jefferson College in a non-conference game  inside  Cameron Stadium at  4 p.m.
