Today's Game --  BW travels to Wilmington for an OAC game against Wilmington College.   The Yellow Jackets look to snap a three-game losing skid as well to win its eighth straight agains the Quakers.

Series Notes --  BW and Wilmington have met 17 times on the gridiron.  The Yellow Jackets hold a 14-3 series lead, including seven straight victories and a 21-14 triumph last season in Berea. The series began in 1922 with the Quakers defeating the Yellow Jackets, 16-7, in Berea. The last Wilmington win came in 2008 when it BW, 27-21, in Wilmington.

Last Meeting --  The last time BW and Wilmington met on October 17, 2015, the Yellow Jackets defeated the Quakers by a final score of 21-14. BW outgained Wilmington 500-261 in total yards, including holding a 268-199 advantage through the air.

Scouting The Yellow Jackets
In week four of the season, BW scored 56 points on 249 yards rushing, 197 yards passing and 446 total yards. Marietta scored 62 points on 364 passing yards, 260 passing yards and 624 total yards. 

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders
Offensively, BW sophomore quarterback Jake Hudson (East Lake, Fla.) has completed 22 of 40 passes for 246 yards and two TDS.  Hudson has also rushed for 110 yards on 21 carries with two TDs.  Junior running back Austin Smith (Broadview Heights/North Royalton) leads the rushing attack with 267 yards on 74 attempts with six TDs. Senior wideout Mike Waggoner (Elyria) leads the receiving corps with nine catches for 107 yards.

Defensively, senior linebacker Brian Stepp (North Royalton) leads the team with 42 tackles. Junior linebacker Sam Groff (Waynesburg/Sand Valley) is second with 36 stops.  Junior strong safety Trypp Washington (Orlando, Fla./First Academy) and junior linebacker Sean Nischwitz (Clinton/Green) iare tied for third with 23 tackles.

Scouting The Quakers
In week four of the season, Wilmington scored seven points on 96 passing yards, minus 30 yards rushing and 66 total yards. John Carroll scored 61 points on 355 passing yards, 129 rushing yards and 484 total yards. 

Quaker Statistical Leaders
Offensively, Wilmington junior quarterback Luke Credit has completed 79 of 136 passes for 782 yards with two TDS.  Senior running back Chase Manica leads the ground attack with 74 yards on 29 carries with two TDs.  Junior wide receiver P.J. Meyer tops the receiving corps with 17 catches for 290 yards.

Defensively, junior linebacker C.J. Thompson leads the team with 34 tackles.  Freshman linebacker Bryan Gonzalez is second with 25 stops.  Junior defensive back Sam Tedtman is third with 23 tackles.
