Today's Game --  BW returns home to the friendly confines of the George Finnie Stadium to host Muskingum College in an OAC game.   The Yellow Jackets will look for their first two-game winning streak of the season and makes its return home after playing on the road the past two weeks.

Series Notes --  BW and Musking have met 59 times on the gridiron.  The Yellow Jackets hold an 45-12-2 all-time series lead, including 10 straight victories. BW won a 34-28 road victory last season.  The last Muskingum victory came at home during the 2005 by a final score of 16-10. The series began in 1917 when the Fighting Muskes defeated the Yellow Jackets at home by a final score of 25-7.  

Last Meeting --  The last time BW and Muskingum met on October 3, 2015, the Yellow Jackets defeated the Fighting Muskies by a final score of 34-28 in overtime. Muskingum outgained BW 449-420 in total yards but the Yellow Jackets held a 205-120 advantage on the ground.

Scouting The Yellow Jackets
In week five of the season, BW scored 28 points on 255 yards rushing, 131 yards passing and 386 total yards. Wilmington scored 17 points on 190 passing yards, 157 passing yards and 347 total yards. 

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders
Offensively, BW sophomore quarterback Jake Hudson (East Lake, Fla.) has completed 33 of 57 passes for 377 yards and three TDs.  Hudson has also rushed for 260 yards on 41 carries with two TDs.  Junior running back Austin Smith (Broadview Heights/North Royalton) leads the rushing attack with 267 yards on 72 attempts with six TDs. Senior wideout Mike Waggoner (Elyria) leads the receiving corps with 11 catches for 125 yards.

Defensively, senior linebacker Brian Stepp (North Royalton) leads the team with 53 tackles. Junior linebacker Sam Groff (Waynesburg/Sand Valley) is second with 43 stops.  Junior strong safety Trypp Washington (Orlando, Fla./First Academy) is third with 31 tackles.

Scouting The Fighting Muskies
In week five of the season, Muskingum scored 17 points on 250 passing yards, 126 yards rushing and 376 total yards. Otterbein scored 30 points on 257 rushing yards, 137 passing yards and 394 total yards. 

Fighting Muskie Statistical Leaders
Offensively, Muskingum senior quarterback Griffin Denger has completed 87 of 132 passes for 1,043 yards with eight TDS.  Senior running back Jordan Scanlon leads the ground attack with 304 yards on 87 carries with two TDs.  Sophomore tight end Granger Long tops the receiving corps with 28 catches for 314 yards with two TDs.

Defensively, junior linebacker Mick Fishel leads the team with 40 tackles.  Senior linebacker Chaney Fulton is second with 38 stops.  Sophomore defensive back Cle'Von Burch is third with 25 tackles.
