WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team fell to Otterbein University in an Ohio Athletic Conference match by a final score of 9-0 on the Otterbein Tennis Courts.

Otterbein (12-4, 5-0 OAC) swept every match over BW (2-9, 0-2 OAC)

Doubles

• Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Gabriela Heideman (Doylestown/Wadsworth) and senior Academic All-OAC Kierstyn Yates (Grafton/Midview) fell at first doubles by a score 8-1
• Junior Academic All-OAC Emma Trost (Norwalk) and freshman Gillian Brown (Brunswick) fell at second doubles by a score 8-0
• Freshmen Aniya Qualls (Elyria/Midview) and Samantha Thielen (Toledo/Sylvania Northview) fell at third doubles by a score of 8-0 

Singles

• Heideman fell at first singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-3
• Yates fell at second singles by identical scores of 6-0
• Trost fell at third singles by identical scores of 6-1
• Brown fell at fourth singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-0
• Thielen fell at fifth singles by scores of 6-3 and 6-0
• Qualls fell at sixth singles by identical scores of 6-0 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Monday, April 22 when they host a rescheduled OAC match against Ohio Northern University on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts at 3:30 p.m.
