Women's Tennis Salutes Three Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and women's tennis program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Emma Hubbard, Ashtyn Morris and Jayde Robinson on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

While the NCAA has extended another year of eligibility, it is uncertain if each of these student-athlete will come back for another season or continue down their career path.  So, the University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these three young women on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the women's tennis program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

Hubbard is an international business and marketing double major from Ortonville, Michigan and a graduate of Brandon High School.  She will earn her second varsity letter this spring. For her career, Hubbard played in 31 singles matches and 22 doubles matched.   She posted a mark of 11-20 in singles and a record of 5-17 in doubles play. Off the court, she is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer, a Dean's List student, Jacket scholar and a member of the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society.

 

 

 

 

 

Morris is an English major from Salem, Ohio and a graduate of Salem High School. She is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference peformer that will earn her thid varsity letter this spring. Morris finished the season tied for the team lead with a 4-2 record at first singles and tied for the team lead with a 5-1 mark at first doubles. In her career, Morris has a 26-29 singles record and a 29-30 mark in doubles action.  Off the court, she is a two-time Academic All-OAC selection, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, Chi Alpha Sigma and Dayton C. Miller honoraries.

 

 

 

 

 

Robinson is an English major from Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of the School for Creative and Performing Arts. She is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer that will earn her third varsity letter this spring. Robinson posted a record of 3-1 in singles play and a 3-1 mark in doubles action. For her career, Robinson holds a 26-24 record in singles and 28-27 slate in doubles.
