Women’s Tennis Falls to Capital in OAC Tournament Quarterfinals

BEXLEY, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team ended its season as it fell to Capital University in an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament quarter final mathc by a final score of 5-04 on the Capital University Tennis Courts.

In doubles action, BW (3-4) won the No. doubles as the tandem of senior Jayde Robinson (Cincinnati/School for Creative & Performing Arts) and freshman Gabriela Heideman (Doylestown/Wadsworth) won by a final score of 8-3.  

BW won three out of six singles contests. Robinson claimed the No. 1 match by a score of 6-2, 6-0. Heideman took the No. 2 contest with a 6-3, 6-1 victory. Freshman Kierstyn Yates (Grafton/Midview) captured No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-0.
