AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis players have been selected to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team.
Senior Ashtyn Morris (Salem) was named to the first team. Senior Jayde Robinson (Cincinnati/ School for Creative & Performing Arts) and freshman Gabriela Heideman (Doylestown/Wadsworth) were selected to the second-team.
Morris, who garners her second accolade after being tabbed as honorable mention in 2018-19, finished the season tied for the team lead with 4-2 record at first singles and a tied for the team lead with a 5-1 mark at first doubles. In her career, Morris has a 26-29 singles record and a 29-30 mark in doubles action. Off the court, she is a two-time Academic All-OAC performer, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, Chi Alpha Sigma and Dayton C. Miller honoraries.
Robinson, who earns her third honor after being selected to the second-team in 2017-18 and 2018-19, posted a record of 3-1 in singles play and a 3-1 mark in doubles action. For her career, Robinson holds a 26-24 record in singles and 28-27 slate in doubles.
Heideman, who garners her first accolade, tied for the team lead with a 4-2 mark at second and third singles and tied for the team lead with a 5-1 record in doubles.
BW finished the shortened 2021 season with an overall record of 3-4 and a 3-3 mark in OAC play. The Yellow Jackets advanced to the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
