Four Women’s Lacrosse Players Land on All-OAC Team

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Four Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team.

Senior midfielder Maddie Ray (Cuyahoga Falls), senior defender Christina Roskoph (Strongsville) and freshman midfielder Deanna Loukas (Tuckahoe, N.Y. / Eastchester) were named to the second-team.  Senior goalkeeper Ashleigh Hildreth (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) was tabbed as honorable mention.

Ray garners her first career accolade after appearing and starting in all 14 games. She led the team in goals with 35 and assists with 12 for a career-best 47 points.  Ray was second on the team in draw controls with 27 and also notched career-bests in ground balls with 18 and caused turnovers with eight. For her career, Ray has appeared in 37 games with 36 starts after  transferring from NCAA Division I St. Francis (Pa.) University. She has scored 88 goals and added 20 assists for 108 points with 45 draw controls, 39 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.

Roskoph earns her first honor after appearing and starting in all 14 games. She recorded a career-best 27 ground balls, caused eight turnovers and had two draw controls.  For her career, Roskoph has appeared in 52 games with 48 starts.  She scored 13 goals and added three assists for 16 points with 67 ground balls, caused 29 turnovers and has five draw controls. Off the field, Roskoph is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.

Loukas garners her first accolade after appearing and starting in all 14 games.  She led the team in draw controls with 40 and ground balls with 37.  Loukas was second on the team in goals with 26 and points with 31.  She also caused 20 turnovers and tallied five assists.

Hildreth garners her second honor after being selected as honorable mention in 2019.  This season, she appeared and started in all 14 games and was tied for the OAC lead in saves with 157. Hildreth also set the school-record for saves in a game with 19 against Otterbein on March 27. For her career, Hildreth has appeared and started in 53 games and is the school-record holder in most goalie categories. She has won 18 career games and has tallied 500 saves in 3086:12 minutes played.
