Northborough, Mass.  – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC women's lacrosse defender Christina Roskoph (Strongsville) has been selected to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll for the first time in her career.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or greater. 

Roskoph, who is one of 922 Division III student-athletes to be recognized, earned a Bachelor of Arts in sport management and marketing this spring.   She carried a 3.681 GPA.

This season, Roskoph played and started in all 27 games.   She recorded a career-high 27 ground balls and added eight caused turnovers and two draw controls.  

The four-year letterwinner appeared in 52 career games with 48 starts.  Roskoph scored 13 goals and added three assists for 16 points with 67 ground balls, caused 29 turnovers and has five draw controls.

Off the field, she is a three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.

The IWLCA is a membership-led, professional association representing the nation's intercollegiate women's lacrosse coaches within Division I, II & III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The IWLCA is a 501c(3) nonprofit educational organization. Currently there are over 500 institutional members and over 1,200 coaches and staff at NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA collegiate programs.
