Women’s Golf Closes Out Fall Season with Ninth Place Finish at Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational

WOOSTER, Ohio – Playing with just four golfers for the second time this season, the Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its schedule as it placed ninth at the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational hosted by The College of Wooster at the Wooster Country Club.

BW was ninth of nine teams with a two-day total of 832 on the 5,803 Wooster layout.  Wooster was the champion with 696 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by junior Academic All-OAC golfer Rachael Sladky (North Olmsted) and senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic golfer Emily Hunt (Marysville) as the duo finished with an invitational of 196.  Sladky fired rounds of 100 and 96 and Hunt carded rounds 101 and 95.  Senior Hannah Durst (Madison) and junior Academic All-OAC golfer Aubrey Baumler (Huron) had identical rounds of 112 and 108 for a total of 220.

BW returns to action in March of 2020 when it begins the spring portion of its schedule during its annual spring break trip.
