Women’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Allegheny (Pa.) Fall Invitational

MEADVILLE, Pa. – With just four golfers competing, the Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished sixth at the Allegheny (Pa.) College Fall Invitational at the County Club of Meadville.

BW was sixth of six teams with a two-day total of 865 on the 5,803 Meadville layout.  Allegheny was the champion with 681 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic golfer Emily Hunt (Marysville) as she carded rounds of 95 and 92 for an invitational total of 187.  Sophomore Kelly Linnabary (Westerville/Central) tallied rounds of 105 and 90 for a two-day total of 195. Senior Hannah Durst (Madison) posted rounds of 104 and 102 for a two-round total of 206.  Rounding out the scoring was freshman Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk/St. Paul) as she had rounds of 152 and 125 for a total of 277.

BW is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29 when it travels to West Lafayette to compete in the OAC Fall Preview hosted by the University of Mount Union at the River Greens Golf Course.   The Yellow Jackets close out the fall portion of their schedule on October 5-6 when they travel to Wooster to compete in the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational hosted by the College of Wooster at the Wooster Country Club.
