LAKE WALES, Fla. – Senior Hannah Durst (Madison) shot a career-low round of 94 as the Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed second at the Webber International Invitational at the Lake Wales Country Club.

BW was the runner-up of three teams with a total of 378 strokes on the 5,103 yard Lake Wales Layout.  NAIA Indiana Institute of Technology was the winner with 331 strokes.

In addition to Durst for the Yellow Jackets, sophomore Kelly Linnabary (Westerville/Central) fired a team-low round of 91.  Junior Academic All-OAC golfer Rachael Sladky (North Olmsted) carded a round of 95.  Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic golfer Emily Hunt (Marysville) posted a round of 98.  Rounding out the top five was sophomore Leah Metzger (Ashland) as she had a round of 99.

Playing as individuals were junior Academic All-OAC golfer Aubrey Baumler (Huron), sophomore Mary Fraley (Cleveland/Mayfield) and freshman Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk/St. Paul).    

Baumler led the individuals as she carded a round of 104.  Olak posted a round of 124.  Fraley had a round of 140.

BW returns to action on Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29 when it travels to Alliance to compete in the University of Mount Union Spring Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.
