Men's Indoor Track and Field Complete Day One at OAC Championships in Seventh Place

ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field stand in seventh place after first day of the two-day OAC Championships hosted by Mount Union inside Peterson Fieldhouse. Sitting in first is Mount Union with 92 points. 

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

  • Junior ShaDaryll Clark II (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) won the 60-meter hurdles prelims. Finals will take place tomorrow. 

Field event highlights:

  • Sophomore John Haberman (Hamburg, N.Y. / Hamburg) placed 16th in the weight throw with a distance of 14.04m

On the relay side:

  • The distance medley squad of sophomore Carter Almady (Brunswick), sophomore Desmond Manley (Akron / St. Vincent-St. Mary), freshmen Connor Foody (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny), and sophomore Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine) placed fifth in a time of 10:55.92.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action tomorrow for the last day of the OAC Championships at Mount Union inside Peterson Fieldhouse . Field event action begins at 10 a.m. with track events at 2:30 p.m.
