Track and Field Releases Indoor and Outdoor Schedules

BEREA, Ohio – Under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jordan Hill '09, the Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's track and field teams and the Ohio Athletic Conference have released its 2022 indoor and outdoor schedules.  

BW will open the indoor season on January 22 as it travels to Otterbein University to compete in the OAC Early Season Showcase.  

The Yellow Jackets will host two meets during the indoor portion of the schedule as they host the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge on January 29 and Mid-February Meet on February 11.

BW will also comepte in the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Otterbein on February 12 and the Ed Finnegan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invitational hosted by Case Western Reserve University on February 19 and the OAC Indoor Championship hosted by the University of Mount Union on February 25-26. 

The Yellow Jackets close out the indoor regular season when they compete in Polar Bear Qualifier at Ohio Northern University on March 4 and 5 as well as the Tufts (Mass.) University National Qualifier Meet on March 5.The 2022 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be contested on the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

BW will open the outdoor season on March 19 as it travels to Terre Haute, Indiana to compete in the Rose-Hulman Intititue of Technology Early Bird Invitational.  Other road meets include the April Fools Invitational hosted by Otterbein on April 2, John Homon Open hosted by Mount Union on April 8-9, the Marv Frye Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on April 9, the Tiffin Track Carnival hosted by Heidelberg University and NCAA Division III Tiffin University on April 15-16 and the 55th Hillsdale (Mich.) College Relays on April 6.

The Yellow Jackets host three outdoor meets including the 53rd Sparky Adams Invitational on April 29, the OAC Outdoor Championships on May 5-6 and the Harrison Dillard Twilight on May 13rd.

The NCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by Mount Union will be contested on May 26-28 at the Spire Institute in Geneva.
