VonKronenberger Named Assistant Director of Athletic Communications

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Director of Athletic Communications Jeff Miller '96 has announced the hiring of Mary vonKronenberger as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.  She will begin her duties on July 26.

"I am excited to have Mary join the BW family," stated Miller. "Her energy and passion for college athletics will help lead the Yellow Jacket programs into the future.  Mary is going to have a long and successful career in this profession, and I am ecstatic to have her continue her journey in Berea."

VonKronenberger, a native of Canadian Lakes, Michigan, comes to BW after earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration and sport management and a Master of Management from NAIA Aquinas (Mich.) College.

"I am very excited to join Baldwin Wallace athletics," said vonKronenberger. "I want to thank Jeff Miller and all of the staff and faculty on the hiring committee. Everyone was so helpful, and they've already made it feel like home! I could feel the positivity and competitive spirits from the beginning. I am very eager to be a part of the communications office and to work towards elevating BW to the next level. Go Yellow Jackets!"

While at Aquinas, vonKronenberger served an athletic operations and sports information graduate assistant and a four-year student-assistant.  She assisted with the coverage of the college's 25 varsity teams as well as handling the updating of the Saints athletics website and social media platforms. 

In addition, vonKronenberger has served as a pro shop assistant and intern at the Canadian Lakes Country Club.  She has also served as a volunteer at the Michigan Special Olympics and the Shamrock Invitational hosted at the Tullymore/St. Ives Golf Resort. 

VonKronenberger is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
