Department of Athletics Announces Partnership with Teamworks to Cultivate Student-Athlete Engagement

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Director of Athletics Steve Thompson is pleased to announce a partnership with Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for collegiate and professional organizations, to cultivate student-athlete engagement.

"Teamworks is the industry standard in athlete engagement, and I am thrilled to provide this resource for our over 650 scholar-athletes to utilize," commented Thompson.  "There are countless ways this platform will help connect and engage with our students and enhance their scholar athlete experience.  Teamworks gives our coaches and staff a leg up on some of our competitors."

This comprehensive platform partnership allows BW student-athletes to easily access all information and communication regarding scheduling, compliance, team operations, and more through a centralized app on their mobile phones.

"Centralized communication is critical in creating a culture of transparency and cohesion across an athletic department. Steve Thompson's prioritization of leveraging technology to streamline communication across all student-athletes and staff continues to position Baldwin Wallace not only as leaders in the Ohio Athletic Conference but also across the Division III space," said Teamworks CEO, Zach Maurides. "We're looking forward to supporting the Yellow Jackets with the software that will help align and move the department forward towards more success."

The Yellow Jackets, who compete in NCAA Division III and are a founding member of the Ohio Athletic Conference, become the seventh Division III program to partner with Teamworks.
