BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Director of Athletics Steve Thompson is pleased to announce the first ever Brown and Gold Day of Giving to be held on Tuesday, November 30.

The 24-hour online event is an opportunity for alumni, fans, former student-athletes, parents, and donors to come together to support BW Athletics, its 23 intercollegiate teams and it's more than 300 student-athletes.  100% of any gift will go directly towards the sport selected.  

"This new program is an opportunity to reconnect with our friends in support of the scholar-athlete experience at Baldwin Wallace," stated Thompson.  "Your support will directly impact current Yellow Jackets by giving them a solid foundation to succeed in competition and in the classroom. 

Tuesday, November 30 coincides with Giving Tuesday an annual tradition occurring on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in an effort to increase charitable giving. 

"Anyone can be a donor, regardless of the size of the gift," said Thompson.  "Support adds up and provides our coaches the opportunity to enhance the Yellow Jacket experience.

Participants will also be able to support the Day of Giving by utilizing pre-made images and other information on their social media channels encouraging others to support Baldwin Wallace.
