Men's Tennis Conquer the Titans of Westminster (Pa.)

MEDINA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team claimed a victory over Westminster (Pa.) College in their final non-conference match of the season. The final score of the triumph was 9-0.

Singles Play (6-0)

  • Sophomore All-OAC Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) bested Jimmy Oberlin, 6-2, 6-1
  • Freshman Will Horvath (Oregon / Clay) trounced Jacob Mack, 6-1, 6-0
  • Freshman Henry Harders (Ottawa Hills) handled Thomas Albert, 6-2, 6-1
  • Freshman Gavin Binni (Sylvania / Northview) vanquished George Oliver, 6-2, 7-5
  • Senior All-OAC & Academic All-OAC Anthony Tosatto (Creston / Norwayne) overcame Dylan Weiss, 6-7(4), 7-5, 1-0(2)
  • Sophomore Caleb Reed (Wilmington) thwarted Noah Sofran, 6-2, 5-7, 1-0(7)

Doubles Play (3-0)

  • McGee and All-OAC senior Trey Kernan (Penfield, N.Y.) defeated Oberlin/ Albert, 8-1
  • Harders and freshman Jacob Weingart (Tiffin / Columbian) defeated Mack/ Weiss, 8-2
  • Freshman Joe Donnelly (Lodi / Cloverleaf) and sophomore Jack Hindman (Avon) defeated Oliver/Crissman, 8-3

BW (12-0) returns to action for their first conference play match on Wednesday, March 29 when they host Ohio Northern at 3:30 p.m. on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts
