OBERLIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team fell to Oberlin College in its non-conference finale by a final score of 1-0 on Fred Shults Field.
BW Leaders (4-5-1)
- Sophomore goalkeeper Sam Cipriano (Massillon / Jackson) recorded six saves
- Freshman midfielder Cimi Halilaj (Westlake) made two shots with one on goal
Oberlin Leaders (2-3-3)
- Senior midfielder Antony Commissaris scored the game winning goal at the 50:04 mark
- Sophomore defender Carlos Febles-Flores provided the assist for Commissaris
First Half
- BW and Oberlin had two corners each
- The Yellow Jackets outshot Oberlin 5-4
- Oberlin and BW each had two saves
Second Half
- The Yellow Jackets won the corner kick battle by a 3-2 margin
- Oberlin outshot BW 9-7
- The Yellow Jackets made four saves
BW is back in action on Saturday, September 30 when it opens Ohio Athletic Conference play on the road againt Marietta College on Marietta Field at 4 p.m.
