SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2012, Cory played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter.

ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2010, Cory received the Most Outstanding Freshman Award, as decided on by the players.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Cory has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 44-30 record during his first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Cory has yet to record a decision in 28 appearances with two saves and 31 whiffs in 38 and one-third innings pitched.

As a freshman in 2011, Cory competed in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in ten games out of the bullpen, throwing 16 and two thirds innings. Cory finished the season with a 2.70 earned run average, recorded 13 strikeouts, and had one save. Cory was awarded the Freshman of the Year award, as voted on by the players. B-W finished with an overall record of 17-17.

As a sophomore in 2012, Cory played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter. Cory tied B-W's single-season appearences record with 18 this season. He compiled a 1.66 earned run average and struck out 18 batters in 21 and two-thirds innings pitched. He allowed opponents to bat .294 against him. Cory helped B-W win a school-best 27 games to go 27-13 on the season.
