SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a senior in 2012, Brent played in his second season of baseballand earned his second varsity letter. As a junior in 2011, Brent played in his first season of baseball and earned a varsity letter.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Brent had a solid two-year baseball career at Baldwin-Wallace College after transfering here as a junior in 2010-11. He earned two varsity letters and was a starting pitcher in the Yellow Jackets rotation for the past two seasons. During his time here in the Brown & Gold, B-W posted an overall record of 44-30. Overall as a pitcher, In 15  appearances, including 11 starts, he had two complete games, and struck out 19 batters in 52 and two-third innings pitched. Offensively for his career, he appeared in five varsity games, including two starts, had a .300 career batting average (3-for-10) with one run scored, and one run batted-in.

As a freshman in 2009, Brent played in his first season of baseball at the University of Findlay.

As a sophomore in 2010, Brent played in his second season of baseball at Notre Dame College.

As a junior in 2011, Brent played in his third season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 14 games, five at second base (two starts), and nine on the mound (six starts).  Brent pitched 30 and one third innings, recording a record of 1-3 with a 5.93 earned run average and one complete game.  At the plate Brent hit .300 (3-of-10) with one run scored and one RBI.  B-W finished the season at 17-17.

As a senior in 2012, Brent played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter. In 2012, Brett was primarily used as a pitcher. He appeared in six games, starting five of them. In 22.1 innings of work Brett had one complete game, 17 earned runs, an ERA of 6.85 and ten strikeouts. B-W won a school-best 27 games to go 27-13 on the season.
