BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  Jordan played four years of baseball and earned two varsity letters. An injury (read below) cut short his senior season in 2012.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a sophomore in 2010, Jordan received the Yellow Jacket Award, voted on by the coaches. The Yellow Jacket Award is given annually to the exemplary baseball student-athlete who has demonstrated a year-round dedication to the team by displaying a positive attitude toward the game and his teammates and showing a strong work ethic and a style of unselfish play and leadership.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Jordan had a solid four-year baseball career at Baldwin-Wallace College. He earned two varsity letters (as a junior and senior in 2011 & 2012) and split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams as a freshman and sophomore. During his time here in the Brown & Gold, B-W posted an overall record of 75-72-1. Jordan started at least one varsity game in each of his four seasons. Overall, he appeared in 39 varsity games, including 24 starts, had a .211 career batting average (16-for-76) with 11 runs scored, two doubles, three runs batted-in and three stolen bases in five attempts. In addition, Jordan was a solid defensive catcher and had a .987 career fielding average and committed just two errors in 149 career chances.

As a freshman in 2009, Jordan played in his first season of baseball and received a Certificate of Participation.  He saw time at catcher primarly on the junior varsity squad, but he did dress for varsity games and made six appearances, including two starts.  Jordan hit .125 in eight plate appearances with an RBI and a stolen base.  B-W finished 19-19 overall.

As a sophomore in 2010, Jordan played his secomnd season of baseball and saw action in seven varsity games, including one start.  He hit .300 (3-for-10) with an RBI and was perfect in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage. He received the Yellow Jacket Award for being an exemplary baseball player. B-W finished the season 12-23-1.

As a junior in 2011, Jordan played his third season of baseball, earned a varsity letter and had his best season as a collegian.  He appeared in 20 games, started 17, and hit .217 (10-for-46) with two doubles, seven runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases.  He had a .990 fielding percentage and threw out 9-of-13 runners who attempted to steal on him. B-W finished the season 17-17 overall.

As a senior in 2012, Jordan played in his fourth season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter. He was the starting catcher (splitting time with fellow senior Ryan Nordquist) and appeared in six games, including four starts. He batted .167 (2-for-12) with two runs scored before an injury on the team's spring break trip to Florida both ended his season and career. B-W finished with a school-record 27 wins and had a 27-13 overall record.

In baseball as a senior, Jordan was named to the first-team All-NOL and first-team All-District IX for his outstanding play on the field.
