SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a freshman in 2012, Kyle competed in his first season of baseball and earned his varsity letter.   

ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2012, Kyle was named as a second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection. Kyle also received the Most Outstanding Freshman Award and the Big Stick Award, as decided on by the B-W coaching staff.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Kyle has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded 27-13 record following his first season in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Kyle is hitting .353 (54-for-153), 14 doubles, one triple, four home runs and has 37 RBI's as well. He  also has scored 42 runs, drawn 15 walks and has been hit by five pitches.

As a freshman in 2012, Kyle competed in his first season of baseball. He appeared in 40 games and started all of them. On the season, Kyle had an average of .353 (54-for-153), 14 doubles. and 1 triple. Chontos led the team with four home runs and RBI's with 4 and 37 respectively. He was also second on the team in runs scored with 42. Kyle recieved the Most Outstanding Freshman Award and the Big Stick Award, as decided on by the B-W coaching staff. Kyle was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference second-team for his outstanding play on the year.  B-W set a school-record with their 27 wins and a 27-13 record.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In baseball as a senior, Kyle was named first-team All-Ohio, first-team All-Ohio Capital Conference and first-team All-Central District (Division I). He also was invited to play in the Mizuno Senior All-Star Series in Chillicothe for his outstanding play on the field. For Division I, he was tabbed first-team All-State selection as well. Statistically as a senior, Kyle batted .461 with two homeruns and 27 runs batted-in.
