SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2012, Jon played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Jon has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 44-30 record during his first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Jon has compiled a record of 5-3 in 14 appearances, including nine starts. Jon has an earned run average of 3.94 with 42 whiffs in 59 and one-third innings pitched.

As a freshman in 2011, Jon played in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in five games, including three starts. Jon recorded an 8.16 earned run average over 14 and one-third innings pitched with a 1-2 record and seven strikeouts. B-W finished 17-17.

As a sophomore in 2012, Jon played in his second season of baseball. He appeared nine games, six of them being starts. Jon had a record of 4-1 with a 2.60 ERA over 45.0 innings pitched. He struck out 35 batters on the year and surrendered just 13 earned runs. He helped B-W finish with a school-record 27 wins to go 27-13 on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Jon played four years of football and baseball. He earned four varsity letters in baseball and three in football.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In baseball as a senior, Jon was named as an All-Northeast Ohio Conference performer. Statistically, Jon recorded his best season on the mound as a junior when he posted a 5-1 record. He was also named to the All-Sun Newspaper Team and recieved the Sentorial Citation. In football as a senior, Jon was a first-team All-NOC selection and an honorable mention All-District selection. Jon was the starting quarterback for North Royalton as a senior and led the Bears to a 9-2 overall record.
