SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2012, Joe played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Joe has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 44-30 record during his first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Joe is hitting .259 (15-for-58) with 13 runs scored,five  doubles, 14 RBI and is five-for-six in stolen base attempts.

As a freshman in 2011, Joe played in his first season of baseball and earned a certificate of participation for his efforts.  He appeared in three games, starting in one.  He had four at-bats and finished the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.  B-W posted an overall record of 17-17.

As a sophomore in 2012, Joe played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. Joe appeared in 22 games, starting 13 of them. He hit for an average of .278 (15-of-54) with 13 runs scored, five doubles, and 14 RBI. Joe had an on-base percentage of .414 and stole five bases on the year. He helped B-W win a school-record 27 games to go 27-13 on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In baseball as a senior,  Joe was named as a first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference performer. Statistically, Joe recorded a batting average of .412 his senior year. In football as a senior, Joe was selected as a first-team All-NOC, second-team All-District, and Cable Nine Player-of-the-Year for his outstanding performance on the field.
