BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a junior in 2012, Keith missed the majoity of his third season of baseball due to injury. As a sophomore in 2011, Keith played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: As a sophomore in 2010-2011 and again as a junior in 2011-2012, Keith became a Jacket Scholar for maintaining a cumulative GPA above 3.5. Also as a junior in 2011-2012, Keith was a Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society inductee. At the 2011-12 Honors Day Awards Ceremony, he received the Charles G. Irwin Memorial Scholarship.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Keith has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 56-53-1 record during his first three seasons in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Keith is hitting .221 (19-for-86) with 14 runs scored, one double, two triples, 12 RBI and is three-for-four in stolen base attempts.

As a freshman in 2010, Keith played in his first season of baseball and did not letter as he has seen playing time on the junior varsity infield.

As a sophomore in 2011, Keith played his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 32 games, starting 29 of them at second base for the Yellow Jackets. Keith hit .226 (19-of-84) with two triples, 12 RBI, and 12 walks for an on-base percentage of .350.  He was three-of-four for stolen bases and recorded a .944 fielding percentage. B-W finished with an overall record of 17-17.

As a junior in 2012 Keith played in his third season of baseball. Keith played in two games early in the year, but had his season cut short due to an arm injury.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Keith played four years of baseball and earned three varsity letters.  He also played basketball for four years and earned two varsity letters.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In both baseball and basketball, Keith was All-City and All-County as a senior.  He also received the David Tyzinski Memorial Award for the Best Two Sport Athlete as a senior. Statistically as a senior in baseball, Keith hit .442 with eight steals, 13 RBI, three doubles, a triple, four sacrifice hits, 22 runs scored, 11 walks and had 23 hits.
