BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): Ryan played three years of baseball at Baldwin-Wallace and earned two varsity letters. He played his freshman season at Ohio Dominican University (2007-08).

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Ryan had a solid baseball career at Baldwin-Wallace College. He earned three varsity letters (as a sophomore, fourth-year junior, and a fifth-year senior in 2009, 2011 & 2012). During his time here in the Brown & Gold, B-W posted an overall record of 75-72-1. Overall, he appeared in 70 varsity games, including 50 starts, had a .245 career batting average (37-for-151) with 31 runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple, one home run, 30 runs batted-in and three stolen bases in five attempts. In addition, Jordan was a solid defensive catcher and had a .988 career fielding average and committed just four errors in 224 career chances.

As a freshman in 2008, Ryan attended Ohio Domincan University.

As a sophomore in 2009, Ryan played in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter.  Ryan made 25 appearances for the varsity, making 19 starts at catcher.  At the plate, Ryan hit .235 (12-of-51) with four doubles, a triple, six runs batted-in and 14 runs scored.  Behind the plate, Ryan had a .973 fielding percentage and committed only three errors. B-W finished 19-19 overall.

As a junior in 2010, Ryan did not play in his second season of baseball due to injury.

As a fourth-year junior in 2011, Ryan played in his second season of baseball.  He appeared in 13 games, starting four.  Ryan hit .211 (4-of-19) with one run scored, one double, two RBI, and a .360 on-base percentage.  He recorded a .952 fielding percentage, making only one error 21 chances, mainly at first base.  B-W finished 17-17 on the season.

As a fifth-year senior in 2012, Ryan played in his third and final season of baseball. He was the Yellow Jackets starting catcher and appeared in 32 games, starting 27 of them. Ryan hit .259 (21-of-81) with 16 runs scored, five doubles, 22 RBI, and one homerun. He held an on-base percentage of .404, drawing 13 walks, and stealing three bases. Ryan helped lead B-W to the most wins in school history with 27 for a 27-13 record.
