Women’s Tennis Competes on Final Day of Oberlin Invitational

OBERLIN --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team competed today on the final day of the Annual Oberlin College Invitational Tournament on the Don Hunsinger Courts.

In singles play, Academic All-OAC senior Elizabeth Keller (Cincinnati /Walnut Hills) defeated Lanie Berk of The College of Wooster by scores of 6-1 and 6-3. Also in singles play, freshman Anatasia Koval (Seven Hills /Normady) beat Elizabeth Brewington of The College of Wooster with scores of 3-6, 7-5, and 10-7.

In doubles action, senior Morgan Baker (Vermilion /Elyria Catholic) and sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference standout Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) won, 9-7. Also in doubles play freshman Claire Watts (Medina) and Mackenzi Baker (Vermilio /Elyria Catholic) won, 9-7.

Following today's final day of competition at Oberlin, the BW women wrap up the fall portion of its 2013 fall season at the annual ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Central Region Tournament from Sept. 20-22 at  DePauw University  in Greencastle, Indiana.
