BW Women’s Tennis Team Loses to Heidelberg, 6-3, in Tiffin

TIFFIN, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team lost to Ohio Athletic Conference rival Heidelberg University, 6-3, today on the Heidelberg University Tennis Courts in Tiffin.
 
With its loss, BW is 6-9 overall and 2-1 in the OAC Heidelberg improved to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in the OAC.

The Yellow Jackets, trailed 2-1 after doubles play as the third doubles team of freshman Claire Watts (Medina) and senior Whitney Yoder (Medina) won, 8-3.

In singles action, at No. 4 singles sophomore Mackenzie Donalson (Hilliard / Davidson) lost at by a score of 7-5 and 6-5 (9-7) count. At sixth singles, Yoder won, 6-3 and 6-4.

The Yellow Jacket women are back in action on Saturday, April 5 when they travel to Westerville, Ohio to play Otterbein University at 1:00 p.m. The next home match is Wednesday, April 9 versus OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University at the "Pop" Collins Tennis Complex at 3:30 p.m.
