Women’s Tennis Competes Second Day at Oberlin Invite

OBERLIN -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team competed in the second day of the three-day  Oberlin College Invitational.

The tournament will resume on Sunday morning (Sept. 15) in the final day of competition as singles matches will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Don Hunsinger Tennis Courts.

The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Hayley Peterson (Tusla, Okla.) who beat Lanie Berk of The College of Wooster by scores of 7-5, 6-7 and 10-7.  Peterson now has a 1-1 season record.

Following today's final day of competition at Oberlin, the BW women wrap up the fall portion of its 2013 fall season at the annual ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Central Region Tournament from Sept. 20-22 at  DePauw University  in Greencastle, Indiana.
