BW Women’s Tennis Team Ends Season

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team lost to Ohio Athletic Conference rival the University of Mount Union, 5-0, today in an OAC Tournament quarterfinal match at the Whitehall Tennis Courts.
 
With its loss, BW ends its season at 7-16 overall. With its, win, Mt. Union is 13-2 overall and advances to the OAC Final Four this weekend at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.

The Purple Raiders led, 3-0, after doubles play.

For BW, the No. 1 tandem of senior Morgan Baker (Vermilion / Elyria Catholic) and sophomore Mackenzie Donalson (Hilliard / Davidson) was defeated by the Mount Union tandem of MacKenzie Jenkins and Megan Reichert, 8-6.

Despite its early exit from the OAC tourney, the BW women have won two of the past four OAC Tournament titles and advanced to two of the last four NCAA Division III national tourneys.
