BW Women’s Tennis Team Falls to JCU in Berea

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team lost an Ohio Athletic Conference dual match to Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University, 8-1, today on the "Pop" Collins Courts.
 
With its loss, BW is 6-11 overall and 2-3 in the OAC. With its victory, JCU is 6-8 overall and 2-2 in the OAC.

The No. 1 doubles team of senior Morgan Baker (Vermilion/Elyria Catholic) and sophomore Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) provided the only win on the day for the Yellow Jackets as they defeated their opponents by a score of 8-0.

The Yellow Jacket women are back in action on Saturday,  April 12 when they travel to Mason, Ohio to play Muskingum University in an OAC match at 2:00 p.m.  That match is being played at the nationally-renown Linder Family Tennis Center as a part of an OAC men's and women's dual match format.  The BW men also are playing three matches in Mason that weekend.
