BW Women’s Tennis Team Loses to Ohio Northern

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team lost to Ohio Athletic Conference rival Ohio Northern University, 9-0, today in a dual match at the "Pop" Collins Courts.
 
With its win, BW is 7-12 overall and 3-4 in the OAC. ONU is 14-3 overall and 6-1 in the OAC.

The Polar Bears led 3-0 after doubles.

In singles action, No.2 player Morgan Baker (Vermilion / Elyria Catholic) lost, 6-2 and 6-2. No. 6 Player Whitney Yoder (Medina) lost 7-6, (6-8) and 6-2.

The Yellow Jacket women are back in action on Friday, April 18 when they travel to Alliance, Ohio to play the University of Mount Union in their last regular season OAC match at 1:00 p.m. BW also plays at The College of Wooster on Monday, April 21 at 4:30 p.m.  The final regular season match is at home on Wednesday, April 23 against Ohio Wesleyan University at the "Pop" Collins Courts at 4:00 p.m.

The 2014 OAC Tournament begins April 29 with the OAC Final Four taking place at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio on May 2-3. The winner of the OAC Tournament advances to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
